Been wanting to do shots such as these for quite sometimes now. It was one of the most 'difficult' fun I've ever had . It's hard when only using props found around the house .
pehhhh nih teknik baru yang dinamakan pancutan sejajar...huhuhuhuhuhu!!! adeh la tuan syed...now i wonder, do you have a spare room in your house where you doo all these experiment. especially this new technique of yours. i love the first on, ada percikan air on the tutup botol which makes it dramatic looking.
hebat betul la tuan syed ni punya home studio... shutter laju ni, jadi ISO set berapa??? ada kaca antara subject dan kamera dan kaca tu disenikan dengan air ya???
ps-are you in japan??? dapat air aquarius tu... biasanya saya minum air ni lepas main bola... coke dah berenti minum dah...

cekya ~ Haha... pancutan sejajar !! Hehe.. . Lebih kurang la tu. Hmmm... well, I do have a spare room to do my shootings [ni multipurpose room ni sebenarnya ] but these are not shot there. With all the splashing nanti all wet and my wife musti marah nyer..hehe.... . And yes, that 1st.one is something fun to do. It's different to me and one of the most susah nak capture.
p/s - I should have done the same masa shooting ari tu. I was drenched !! .

izhal ~ Home studio tu is none other than my bathroom [malu ] for these shots la... hehe... . That's the only place where I can splash whichever way I like and however I wanted to. That spray is actually from the shower. ISO saya set paling rendah i.e at 50 cause my camera ni kalau ISO naik sikit mula la byk noise. For these I was going for 'clean' image suitable I think for the title 'Refeshing' . And, nope, tak der pakai kaca dlm shot2 ni. Sebab kalau pakai kaca nanti ader byk water droplets lekat kat kaca tu. Tak cantik .
ps - Oh tidak, saya beli Aquarius tu kat Sogo KL . My energy drink? 100 PLUS. Me have not touch Pepsi and Coke for months now.... .
pps - Aper 2 pun saya doakan semoga saudara izhal dan keluarga sentiasalah dimurahkan rezeki dan dipanjangkan umur... .

Fun buat tu semua sebenarnya as it allows me to mess with all the other editing functions I don't normally use for my usual editings. Give me a good excuse to go the extreme..hehe.. .
Nanie ~ Excellent choices.. hehe.... no.7 tu is one of my fav while no.8 tu I like the editings. But what I like for both is that they are both something I had never tried before. And when I get that kind of end results for some new experimentations, I obviously got excited . Yep, despite their many 'imperfections'. Well, it's a start. A good one I hope .

Hmmm.... tak tau pulak, tapi I always ensure lowest possible ISO [sebab tak nak grain], shutter speed paling laju, use flash, use macro mode when sesuai, background jgn kasi basah, use background putih atau hitam sahaja, splash kena kasi secantik boleh, creative angles, use bright colourful objects ... hmmm... tu je la kot .

mmhmm, i second sabishii doraiba (aka the sad driver?). if you ain't doing this for a living, part time pun okay jugak. the choice of a white background for these shots is spot on, considering you have 'refreshing' as the theme. oh, i've got a suggestion for you: why don't you do pop art style? i mean, you're already leaning that way with different color interpretations for the same picture, so why not go andy warhol, eh? the solitary coke bottle would be perfect for this!

And yes, I believe Aquarius can only be found kat kedai yg ader jual Japanese products. I bought it at Sogo. Truth be told that they were not easy to shoot, at all, na'ah. Well at least for the first half hour. But once I got the hang of it, it was quite easy. Then came the editing parts which are like super hard. Adjust sikit je byk details hilang.. urrghh... .
Najib ~ Passion? Perhaps. Interest? Most definitely. I think I'd be considered passionate if I were to, like, got really into it. I mean 'reeeaaally'. There were many instances during the shoot that ideas came to mind to go just a step further, a more difficult shot, more 'convincing' shots. But I felt that'll be way too tedious and would suck the fun out of the experiments . Oh well, I guess I'm not passionate enough.. hehe.. . But hey, I understand what you mean. I was just rambling .
