Ouled Kenitra ~ Eh, macam tau2 pulak. No la, the owner of these jewellery yg berniaga. On-line. So naturally she wanted to post them but with some quality shots to attract buyers. I did the best I could. Syukur dia happy with the results. Now, dia bagi loads more to snap. Adoiii... tapi best... hehe... . Good practise. Now that I think about it, bagus jugak le try2 shot2 cam ni dulu2 tu. Sebab barang dia byk, and since I dah tau cam ner nak shoot, I can shoot about 10 to 20 barang in an hour with 2 shots each. And that's including set up etc etc. Alhamdulliah.
cekya ~ Aiyaaa... I mean efforts/progression in photography cam technical/experimental stuff le . Tapi really la, to me mahal sgt camera2 tu cekya. I suppose I do need to make an effort to save some $$ to buy it .

i like the nice touches, especially the use of the seashell (she sells seashells by the seashore!). i think using another prop or two would be really good. oh yes, and i'd suggest using a darker background too, just to see if there's a difference in presentation.
i've got one question though: would it have made a difference if the lighting came from the side? i've never done this kind of shots, so i'm curious about the effect.
Yuddin ~ Hehe... opportunity ni came when a friend asked, to which I so gladly said yes . I was desperately trying to find something new to shoot, something exciting to try. Though I had done these sort of shots before, I never did it with specific instructions for them to look in a specific way as requested by my friend tu. So that was quite exciting.
frenzzy ~ I knew someone might feel that way . I did try to make a concious effort to not make them distracting, complementing rather. Perhaps lesser is more, right? . Thks for your candid observation. If there are anything else on your mind, do share k. Would love to know more .

p/s - HDR tu 'High Dynamic Range' image. By combining 3 or 5 or 7 etc of the same image of different exposures, you'll then have this HDR image that gives you a broader range compared to a single image. And such an image will give you awesome possibilities of outcomes in terms of editings. Another kind of HDR image can also be created from a single image by using softwares like photomatic. If you'd like further info just google 'HDR' .
pp/s - Yeah, I found observations like that quite interresting. Naturally, the Discovery/National Geographic Channels are my favourite . Mesmerizing indeed.

/pastu gi Filter, lens Distortion , saya tambah Vigneting
/Flatten Image
/pastu tukar color balance dia, bagi dia tak nampak terlalu black and white sangat, kuning2 sket ke, merah merah sket keeeee....
/pastu dahhhhh SIAPPPP!!! haha
